August 09 NEWSFLASH - MARITIMES TRIP CONTINUES
WHAT A SUMMER this has been! It seems as though we have been going non-stop since our last newsletter. We have felt like we are in another world, especially since we didn't add the Canada plan to our cellphone service while we're up here, so we have spoken to very few people down in the States!
God has worked a lot this summer. Shall we just run right down the list? (Just so you know, the pictures are not in order.)
LOCKEPORT, NOVA SCOTIA
We traveled to this wonderful little island on the South Shore for a Missions Conference with Brother Tim Garren and the Lockeport Independent Baptist Church. We had a wonderful week here with sweet services and receptiveness to preaching. This was Bro. Ben's first opportunity to preach a missions conference. The theme was "The Harvest." It was well attended even though it was in the middle of the summer, and we enjoyed great fellowship all week long, as well as beautiful sights! It was so refreshing to spend time with the Garren family whom we hadn't seen in 4 years! Miles caught his first fish and he was very excited.
RETURNING TO FOREST GLEN BIBLE CAMP AFTER 4 YEARS
One of the events we had been anticipating for the last few years has been to return to Forest Glen Bible Camp outside of Truro, NS. We had such a wonderful experience there 4 years ago, and this year was even better! Bro. Ben preached teen camp, and the teens, staff, counselors, really the whole group not only were receptive to the preaching, but hungry for it! What a blessing to see teenagers hunger for the Word of God. Brother Jeff Reason is the camp director here and we appreciate so much the opportunity we had to return.
We also got the extra blessing of seeing Amanda's Uncle and Aunt, Morris and Lynn Gleiser up here because they were finishing up speaking for Family Camp when we came to camp! It was wonderful to fellowship with them. Who knew we'd run into them in Nova Scotia?
Stewiacke Valley Baptist Church and Pastor Dave Hodder invited us to spend Sunday with them right before teen camp, and we again enjoyed rich fellowship, likemindedness, and some great food. We had met Bro. Hodder's own teenagers Mitchell and Laura last year at the other major fundamental Bible camp in the Maritimes, Windcrest Bible Camp and it was so encouraging to see them again.
It was back to camp for junior week, with 120 junior campers! This would also be Miles' first week of camp ever. He was a bit nervous going into it, but he did a great job and came back practically hoarse from all the cheering. All in all, it was a wonderful camp experience, and we got to know more pastors and sponsors from around the Maritimes and down into Maine. Praise the Lord!
The Sunday inbetween the two camps, Brother Warren Jones and the Charity Baptist Church near Kingston, NS, invited us to their church. Bro. Ben spent the day there, and ended up singing with Bro. Jones, another Bro. Jones, and another Bro. Jones! Yes, they are brothers, and they let Bro. Ben join in for a quartet number. The church is only a few years old, and its exciting to see what God is doing there. Bro. Warren and his wife have 13 children! That's quite a quiver full. (And I thought Amanda's family had a lot of kids (7)!)
ON TO LEPREAU, NEW BRUNSWICK
As we write this newsletter, we are in our final days with the Bethany Independent Baptist Church in Little Lepreau, NB, with Brother Ben Warner. We have been in special meetings here with these good people and have enjoyed it very much. (They have church fellowships EVERY NIGHT after EVERY SERVICE!!! Bro. Ben has worked out every night except one to make up for the extra great food! That's Ben Everson, not Warner!))
Great fellowship has been part of this week. Just today, we went out on a fishing boat owned by one of our friends in the church here. What an experience! We've experienced so much hospitality here and all summer long. While we are always glad to return to our "native land" after trips away, we will miss all these fellow believers who have taken us in so well throughout the Maritimes this summer.
We've been honored to meet people who have traveled for hours from neighboring provinces to hear the preaching and the music. It is humbling to have been used of the Lord this summer and we are reminded in many ways to keep our focus on Him, and not to let it drift away. We have one more full week in the Maritimes which will be spent mostly in Prince Edward Island (which will be in the next newsletter) but already we could not have asked for a better summer. Its been challenging schedule-wise, but God has blessed abundantly in the meetings, the messages, and the music, and fellowship with His people.
10 YEARS IN AUGUST
Ben and Amanda will celebrate 10 years of marriage this August 7. Its hard to believe we are hitting this number, but I guess with 4 kids, 8, 6, 4, and almost 2 we'd better believe it! I (Ben) am so grateful to have such a wonderful friend and companion in the ministry and in life. When we return to the States, we'll be taking a short trip to celebrate with family watching the kids so we can get away for a few days before the Fall season begins.
JOE & BETHANY
Being up in Canada without our phones, we haven't had the opportunity to keep in as much contact with our fellow "co-horts" (Ben likes that word) this summer as much. They are in Wisconsin for the rest of August, and they did get their trailer back after multiple delays from the company. We can't imagine what Lincoln is going to look like when we get back together at the end of next month! They will be joining back with us for our first week of the Fall season. We're excited about what God has for us this next year. We'll get a full update from them next month as they join back with us!
Thank you for your faithfulness in praying for us. We have seen the difference it has made in areas such as health, travel, ministry-wise and even personally. We've seen God's protection this summer.
May God bless you as you press forward for Him!
Sincerely,
The Bro. Ben Everson Family

"LONGING FOR GENUINE REVIVAL IN THE LOCAL CHURCH"
Welcome to this month's Newsflash! We say it a lot, but we mean it: we treasure your prayers!! We really believe that God answers prayer today!
Faith Baptist Church in Perry, OH, brought us in for Fresh Growth Meetings and a special Revival America! performance, inviting a number of area churches in for the special night. I have mentioned to some of you who have asked that what makes the biggest difference in the meetings we hold is when the church is praying for God to work!!! There is simply no substitute for advance prayer. We could tell the difference prayer made during the week. We saw God do some work in hearts in a special way. We made some good friends at this church, pastored by Bro. Jim Lane. The Strimpel family had us over several times and we felt a kindred spirit with these good people.
Immediately before Joe and Bethany left for the summer, we recorded the first major Bible Revival Team CD, entitled "In All My Ways." After they left for the summer, the Ben Everson family went on to Calvary Independent Baptist Church in Huntingdon, PA, pastored by Dr. Thomas Coleman, the church in which we were married 10 years ago this August! We had the Wednesday night service, and Bro. Ben performed his "one-man quartet" demonstration along with the rest of the family's music. Bro. Ben also preached in the chapel service at the Christian school, and got to know Assistant pastor Bro. Paul Rebert during the week we were in Huntingdon.
Laurel Mt. Chapel, pastored by Bro. Don Judy brought us in for the kickoff Sunday of their Bible Conference on our way to Maine. Although we were only there for one day, we had a good Sunday ministering with these good folks. It was on to Calvary Baptist Church in Warren, Maine, for Ben to preach the commencement ceremonies for the 3 homeschool graduates at the church. Congratulations to Bethany Sawyer, Kelly Williams, and Ryan Townsend. And thank you for your kind invitation to speak my first commencement!
The church flew Joe and Bethany into Maine for the weekend for a youth rally and a performance of "Revival America!" in the Sunday Evening service. Pastor Scott Townsend is the pastor of this good church, and we are grateful for the church serving as our "jumping-off" point into Canada. We stayed parked at the church for 3 weeks, during one of which Ben flew out to Amazing Grace Baptist Camp in Ottawa, Kansas.
JOE ENTERS FIRST-EVER ART SHOWS IN WI & MACKINAC ISLAND
Brother Joe got the opportunity to display his artwork at several art fairs this past month. He says that he didn't make a lot of money, but it was a very good learning experience on how to set up for these art fairs. Joe has been taking special orders for his artwork and has done some incredible pieces. Joe and Bethany & Lincoln are in Wisconsin for the summer.
DAREN TURNS 4
Our #3 child Daren celebrated his 4th birthday this past month. We celebrated at a campsite complete with mosquitos! Daren got his first two-wheeled (+training wheels) bicycle for which he was extremely happy!
CAMP SEASON BEGINS
Ben preached Teen Week 1 for Amazing Grace Baptist Camp, directed by Aaron Burton. It was an unusual week of camp. A family that owned a $500,000 house gave the camp the use of their house to put the speakers in for the summer. I was able to stay in this house for the week, and spend hours of study time in the Word, as well as reading numerous books on revival and the working of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. It turned out to be a welcome refreshment and time of learning from the hand of the Lord. It was special to see God working in the hearts of teens and counselors as a result of prayer and the Word.
ENTRY INTO CANADA FOR NEXT 6 WEEKS
We began our 6-week Canadian run this past week with a sacred concert in Saint John, New Brunswick, at Fundamental Baptist pastored by Bro. Herb Hunter. Ben sang some of the music off his new CD, "I'll Pray Again," and Amanda sang a new song that will be on the upcoming Team CD in August. It was nearly an hour-long concert and the people were very kind and told us repeatedly that it was a blessing. That was encouraging, particularly since we don't do music concerts on a regular basis.
TRAILER LOWS AND WOES
Two items of prayer, one for each family. Firstly, Joe's trailer has been sitting in Midland, Michigan for over a month, awaiting an axle repair. It should be covered under factory warranty; please pray that that is so and that it would be fixed soon! They have been living at Bethany's parents' house, but we're sure it will be wonderful to get their own home back and all problems taken care of before the busy fall season.
Secondly, I stretched a little bit on the title! The prayer request is actually for our truck, not the trailer, but its necessary for the trailer! (Confused yet?) As we sat in Truro, Nova Scotia, outside a laundromat, a man driving past hollered out, "Do you know your front tire is flat?" This small sentence altered the course of the next 2 hours as Ben changed the tire, with assistance from a young man named Brandon who worked at the next door computer store. We'll need to get 2 new tires for the truck before we should pull our trailer again. This comes on the heels of spending $645 (2 months' worth) instead of about $220 on Amanda's medication, as Maine's drug prices have not yet lowered the cost of their generic prescriptions (yes, that price is for the generics!). As of yet, we have not been able to get her covered medically again. Please pray we can do this soon!
NEW BIBLE REVIVAL TEAM CD DUE OUT IN AUGUST
The first major CD release from the Bible Revival Team is entitled "In All My Ways" and will be released in August! We are very excited about this CD, which will include the whole Team singing songs like, "Bow the Knee," "Complete in Thee," and "Lamb of Glory." The children also participate! This is a CD you won't want to miss. We will be offering it online on our website as well as through 99-cent downloads!
Remaining we have 2 weeks of camp, 2 weeks of special meetings, and 1 week of Vacation Bible School before we leave the Maritimes.
Joe and Bethany will be meeting up with us in Michigan the first week of September to begin the fall season. The last week of August will also see the return of our "Finding the Faithful" podcast, which had around 2000 downloads and counting! We also have the opportunity to pursue a daily radio program, titled, The Bible Revival Moment. Pray with us that God would lead us in this regard.
Ben & Amanda will be celebrating their 10-year anniversary this August with a small trip while the children stay with family for a few days, and that will round out the month of August!
Until next month, we ask for your prayers and thank you for your support of the families of Bible Revival Ministries! Let us join together to pray that God would revive His church again!

NORTH AMERICA
in what God has been doing! Ben & Amanda headed out to California for a
week of meetings with Bro. Rich Sydlowski and the folks at Mountain Avenue
Baptist Church in Banning, CA. Not only was it beautiful outside, we had some
great meetings inside! Ben preached for the elementary and secondary chapels in
the Christian school. We experienced a freedom to minister and preach, and we
met some wonderful people! We are excited to return in the future to once again
be with these good folks!
Pekin, IL. Pastored by Bro. Tim Collard, we stayed for a full Sunday - Friday
week. Joe spent time teaching an art block class to the Christian school;
Amanda taught a Spanish class, and bro. Ben preached the chapels. (A short video of Joe teaching his art class will be available on
our YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/user/beneverson77). The attendance throughout the week was phenomenal. In fact,
even though spring break began on Friday, the record attendance for the week was
that very night! "Revival America!" was the Monday night service, and we
rejoiced in the tenderheartedness of people throughout the week, including that
night.
Bethel Baptist in Georgetown, IL, for a Sunday night performance of "Revival
America." This was a new church for us AND a pastor we didn't know! We had a
great time getting to know Pastor and his family, but the special note on this
trip was the "Revival America" performance that night. God seemed to step down
in a special way and really burden some hearts with the great need for revival.
We're praying that God would increase the effectiveness of this program,
particularly during these times in the country. (You can
see Bro. McPhillips recommendation of Revival America! as well as video of part
of the program on our YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/beneverson77.)

churches and had a great time back with the Quartet! Ben played piano and sang
and Joe filled in on baritone. We had the privilege of joining with Evangelist
Rich Tozour at his annual Pastor's Golf Retreat near Huntsville, AL. Bro. Jim
Schettler was the speaker for the Monday and Tuesday night services and we had
some sweet services! Tuesday night lasted nearly 3 hours with pastors sharing
testimonies and we were even asked to sing again after it was all over! We
truly were blessed to fellowship with these men.
HE MUSIC STUDIO
birthday, and Miles birthday! The time is flying by!! We are in Alabama for
Bethany's and Miles' birthdays, since we are moving our studio out of Riverview
Baptist Church. It was a big job to get all the equipment out, but now we're set
to find a new location. We are very grateful to the church for voting to allow
our studio into the church almost 3 years ago. It has been a privilege and a
HUGE help to us to have a place where we could return and record our music. We
will miss the church and the people; we wish the people and their new pastor
well as they seek to renovate the older building and use it all for the glory of
the Lord!
REQUESTS
- PRAISE! Down in Alabama, Amanda's
uncle Jay helped Joe fix the back of his trailer which had been ripped open. It
looks almost as good as new! And what's better, no rain water will get in.
Thank you uncle Jay!
- PRAISE! We were getting ready to
head out from IL, when Ben heard a hissing sound. He investigated and found a
hole in one of our dually tires. We unhooked and took it to Firestone. They
took off the wrong side tires, and found ANOTHER leak! Praise God for their
mistake! We found that problem before we left. We're getting those two tires
replaced down here in Alabama before we hit the road back to Michigan.
- PRAYER REQUEST: We're asking for
your prayer that Amanda will be reconsidered for coverage for her medications.
We are reapplying for coverage, which amounts to about $300 per month. Would
you pray that these would be covered once again?
AGAIN"
CD is finally being released! Due out April 30th, this CD includes a lot more
original songs than our previous CDs. You will be able to purchase this CD from
our website, OR as downloads! Be looking on our website April 30th for exact

folks at Tabernacle Baptist Church. What a wonderful time we had there! Pastor
Jeff Davis and the people took such good care of us. We will miss these good
people. For our last Sunday, we did a concert of the new music Ben is featuring
on his new solo CD due out the first of April. We felt so much a part of the folks there and it was hard to leave.
present: they washed our truck and trailer! They did a great job too. Last
week, men in the church welded our fresh water tank back in place, replaced a
broken fridge vent cover, built a new pantry shelf and other desperately needed
things. It also enabled Ben to reseal the roof!

time too, as Ben usually is the one doing the preaching but got to listen this

Ben to play for (and sing with) the Calvary Quartet for the weekend. We decided
to come down as a family in our trailer and we're currently sitting at the
Winkler Road Baptist Church, and we just enjoyed a great day of ministry with
the quartet! Ben was able to teach Sunday School, and the day went
well.
this newsletter is titled, "Get the news out, quick!" is that our daughter Elena
"became ill" all over the church foyer tonight at the end of the service, and it
appears that the illness is spreading to the rest of us. I am feeling quite
terrible as I write this, but we wanted to get this out to our prayer partners!
If we have to deal with a little sickness like the rest of the world, that's
ok! Not that we'll enjoy it, but that's part of life. Would you pray we can
get back on our feet in time to get back to Greenville for us to fly out to
California for a week of meetings? That's very important!

we've seen some lives greatly impacted by the message of the need for revival.
We can assure you, this newsletter will not be able to express the goings-on

church with Pastor Jerry Wichert & his people. The church had been praying
before our arrival, and God so led in the services! Pastor and Brother Ben did
not talk about the upcoming meetings very much at all, and it proved to be of
the Lord as God led the topics for the sermons to be directly applicable to the
state of the church, according to Pastor Wichert. We loved seeing our good
friends here, but it seemed to be extra special this time around, sensing that
God is doing a work deep in the hearts of people here. (the side picture: a
large praying mantis went for several rides on the back of our truck as we set
up for "Revival America!" He was HUGE!)

Lanes in over 5 years! What a privilege. And the week was extremely
well-attended, and the hearts of the people were hungry to hear God's principles
of revival. In fact, we began with a men's prayer breakfast, and what a joy it
was to pray with 40+ men for God to revive His church! The meetings were
scheduled to go through Wednesday, but an extra, Thursday night "inquirers"
meeting was held for a number of people who wanted to know more about revival.
Praise God for a great week of meetings that will hopefully be the beginning of
God at work. The folks here were incredibly generous to us for which we praise
God!

week of meeting with Brother Ernie Ruemennapp and the congregation. The church
had us in just last year, but wanted us to return quickly. What a privilege to
be back! There was a receptiveness to the preaching, and particularly to the

the Sunday after we left, God really moved upon the hearts of people in the
church and the Lord seems to be doing something special! Praise

so generous to us! People at the church got involved, and we are rejoicing at
the encouragement folks receieved during the week.

Midland to prepare for the birth of the baby! How exciting! Please pray for
them as they get ready for this milestone.
GOD LEADS JOE & BETHANY TO A NEWER, BETTER TRUCK
to a 2006 Dodge 2500 to pull their trailer. As you may recall, the 1500 was
having problems, and if it wouldn't have been for Uncle Jay in Alabama, we
wouldn't have been able to begin meetings this fall!! This truck has been doing
great, and pulls so much better. We are ALL grateful that that hurdle seems to
have been overcome.
